Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu airport and you will be transferred to the hotel by one of our representatives. Welcome dinner at one of the traditional Nepali restaurants in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Visit Swoyambunath and Patan: start our tour visiting a magnificent Buddhist stupa, Swoyambunath followed by a visit of Patan, a true open air museum with its pagodas, temples, and monasteries.

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2650m): A scenic 40 minutes flight to Lukla (2865m) where we start our trek to Phakding which takes about 3 hours. We go through Cheplung (2700m), Thado Koshi and Ghat (2590m) villages. Phakding is a small charming place with some comfortable lodges.

Day 04: Trek Phakding to Namche (3440m): The busy trail follows Dudh Koshi River and reaches Zamphuti where you can observe the beautiful view of Thamserku Peak then continue to Chomoa. We continue our trek again and climb to Monjo 2850m). Monjo is entry point of Sagarmatha National Park so we should complete our trekking permit and National park entry formalities before we enter the park. The trek again continues to Jorsale where we start our ascent to Namche Bazaar after crossing the large suspension bridge. Along the way you could get the first proper glimpse of Mt. Everest and other surrounding peaks. Namche bazaar is known as the gateway to Everest and has some modern facilities including some very good lodges, several monasteries, shops, bakeries, an army camp, Sagarmatha National Park quarter, museum etc.

Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche (3440m): Today we hike to nearby Everest View Hotel where we can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Mt. Everest and surrounding mountain peaks. You may also be interested to visit Sherpa Museum which is a great place to learn Sherpa culture and the history of mountaineering in the region.

Day 06: Trek Namche to Phortse (3810m): The trail begins with easy walk to sanasa then gradual ascends to Mongla danda, which offers great view of Ama Dablum and Thamserku. Then a long descend to the Phortse Tanga where we stop for the lunch. After lunch, a short hike to Phortse on gradual up hill.

Day 07: Trek Phortse to Dingbuche (4410m): trek to Dingbuche takes about 7 hours. The view of the mountains though out the whole day is breathtaking, with the spectacular view of Mt. Amadablam (6856m) on the right and Mt. Everest (8848m) peeking out from Lotse wall and Mt. Lotse (8516m) itself standing in front of us being a giant wall. To make it even better most famous trekking peak Island peak stands right in the valley of Dingbuche.

Day 08: Acclimatization Day: We hike towards Chukkung valley (Island peak), which helps you to get more acclimatize for higher altitude. Adding to that Chukkung offers splendid view of the whole valley and some spectacular ice cliffs on the right.

Day 09: Trek Dingbuche to Dugla (4620m): a short walk to Dugla and in the afternoon we can go for acclimatization hike towards Dzongla valley. A great viewpoint for Cho lotse, Tabuche and Cho la pass.

Day 10: Trek Dugla to Lobuche (4930m): We start our trek with gradual uphill walk, enjoying magnificent view of Cho lotse and Tabuche. The trail ascends to the terminal moraine of the Khumbu glacier. We pass through the memorial area of Chukpilhara before reaching Lobuche. From the Lobuche, the sunset on Mt. Nuptse is particularly spectacular.

Day 11: Trek Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m) and excursion to Everest Base Camp (5380): As we continue our journey to Everest Base Camp, view of mountains and surroundings get better and closer. The trail up to Gorakshep is rocky and windy but it offers great view of Pumori and Surrounding mountain peaks as well as the view of Everest Base Camp and Khumbu glacier. After having some rest in Gorakshep, we start hiking towards our final destination Everest Base Camp (5380m). It is strenuous walk to the Everest Base Camp but worth of every step. We spend about an hour at the Base Camp then retrace our steps back to Gorakshep.

Day 12: Trek Gorakshep to Kalapatthar and trek down to Pheriche (4252m): start our day early in the morning with a plan to get to the top of the Kalapatthar (5545m) before the sunrise, which is one of the finest viewpoints in Khumbu region. After enjoying the best view of the region, we hike back to our lodge at Gorakshep and have breakfast then start our trek back to Pheriche.

Day 13: Trek Pheriche to Tengboche (3860m): Leaving the mountains behind us we continue our trek by descending through Orsho, Shomare and Lower Pangboche villages to reach the suspension bridge over the Imja Khola. Then we climb a small hill to get to Tengboche.

Day 14: Trek Tengboche to Jorsale (2810m): We continue our trek from Tengboche with a steep descent through a stunning forest of rhododendron, blue pine and silver fir to Phunkithanga, a small settlement with a couple of tea houses. Then the trail ascends to Tashinga where we cross a suspension bridge and continue along an easy flat trail to Namche Bazaar. After having lunch in Namche, our trek continues steeply down to Dudh Koshi. The walk to Jorsale follows along the Dudh Koshi River.

Day 15: Trek Jorsale to Lukla (2865m): On our final day of the trek, a fairly easy walk takes us back to Lukla. It is about 5 hour's trek taking us through the villages of Phakding, Ghat, Thado Koshi, and Cheplung.

Day 16: Flight Lukla to Kathmandu (1334m): a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. The 40 minute flight to Kathmandu usually leaves early in the morning from Lukla. In the evening, we can participate in Buddhist Puja ceremony at Bairoling Monastery.

Day 17: Visit Boudhnath and Bhaktapur: start our day visiting Boudhnath, largest stupa in Nepal built in 14th century followed by an hour drive to visit an ancient city, Bhaktapur. It is one of the oldest cities of Kathmandu valley.
